NGA has successfully partnered with many local schools to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.   Contact us if you would like to learn more about how to become involve. 

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Youth groups, scouts, school age children and teens wishing to do a community service project should contact Kitty LaFlamme @ 215-682-9183.

 

 

Success Stories for Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and High Schools

Montessori Children's House - students collected children's pajamas during a clothing drive for NGA.

Elementary Schools

McDonald Elementary School - Fifth grade students asked their neighborhood to donate new clothing for NGA.  They handed out flyers and collected the items on their bikes.   

Shady Grove Elementary School -  Collected toiletries for NGA.

Newtown Elementary School - Physical education instructor annually organizes a Turkey Shoot (basketball event) for entire school.  Each student is encouraged to donated at least $1 to participate.  Money is donated to NGA.

Wrightstown Elementary School - PE instructor annually organizes a Turkey Shoot (basketball event) for entire school.  Each student is encouraged to donated at least $1 to participate.  Money is donated to NGA.

Middle Schools

Holland Middle School - Students organized a collection of new warm winter items and donated to NGA.

Lenape Middle School - The Student Council held a dance and donated the proceeds to NGA.

High Schools

Archbishop Wood High School - students volunteered at NGA's Headquarters with sorting and boxing clothes for distribution.

Central Bucks High School South- Senior student did her senior project on NGA.  She set up a collection of new items at a local Middle School; and solicited donations from local stores.

Council Rock High School North - Students volunteered at NGA on a weekly basis during the school year.

Neshaminy High School - Collected toiletries for NGA.

Upper Moreland High School- Students volunteered and did their senior project for NGA

William Tennent Sr. High School - Each year, students come to volunteer at NGA's Headquarters on a weekly basis.
