Turkey Shoot- special thanks to Newtown and Wrightstown Elementary school students for holding their Annual Basketball Turkey Shoot. This is the 8th year that the physical education teachers rallied the students to see how many baskets they can make in a minute. Trophies were given out to the winners. Proceeds from the event were donated to NGA.

                 

Jack 'n Jill Charity Golf Tournament was recently held.  It was sponsored by Applied Research Lab-Penn State University.  Thanks to our 76 golfers who made the day a success. 

Tread for Threads WALK  was held at Mondauk Park in Upper Dublin. Over 100 walkers participated in this great event.  Money raised will help purchase new clothes for the many needy children in our communities. Thank you walkers, SPONSORS: Bucks County Bank, Daniel W. Dowling Post #769, B. J.Burnley Co and in-kind donations from Hatfield Quality Meats, Rosenbergers Dairies, Bakers Best, Waste Management, Herr's, Aqua Pennsylvania, Nick's Grill, Diversified Riders and Chairperson, Gioia Flowers- Smith for a super job!  

Celebrity Bartender at Chambers 19 in Doylestown, PA.  20% of the proceeds were donated to NGA. 

NGA Dinner & Auction at the Spring Mill Country Club in PA was an wonderful evening.  Music, auction items, delicious food made everyone have a good time. Over $8,000 was raised to help purchase new clothes for children, women and families in need. 

VOLunteer Tea Luncheon - NGA National hosted a recognition luncheon for volunteers who made, mend, or donated new items of clothing to NGA. Over 2,000 hours were logged by these volunteers. Thank you to all that give of their time and talent to those less fortunate.
