Turkey Shoot

 

Newtown and Wrightstown Elementary School students held their Annual Basketball Turkey Shoot the week of November 16th.  This is the 10th year that the physical education teachers rallied the students to see how many baskets they can make in a minute.  Trophies are given out to the winners. 

Proceeds from the event are donated to NGA.

Tread for Threads Walk

 

NGA’s Annual 3-Mile Walk-A-Thon took place on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Mondauk Community Park.  Our goal was to raise money to support the Mission of NGA, Inc. This year’s event raised $3,177.23!!!  Thank you very much for all of your support!

Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

 

NGA National hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, October 12, 2009.  The luncheon began at 11:00AM.  The luncheon recognized volunteers who have helped NGA in any way, including those who have  made, mended, or donated new items of clothing to NGA over the past year. 

ARL Jack ’n Jill Charity Golf Outing

 

On Friday, October 23, 2009, NGA hosted the ARL Jack ’n Jill Charity Golf Outing.  The event took place at the Five Ponds Golf Course in Warminster, PA.  There was a great turnout for this year’s event.  A special thank you to everyone at Penn State ARL for organizing this event in support of the Mission of NGA!

17th Annual Dinner & Auction

 

Our 17th Annual Dinner Auction was held on May 20, 2010 at the Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, Pennsylvania.  Thank you to everyone who attended & contributed to this event!  Because of you, it was a great success!!
