Turkey Shoot

 

The 11th Annual Basketball Turkey Shoot was held the week of November 16, 2010!  Thank you to all of the students, teachers, students and parents from Newtown and Wrightstown Elementary Schools who participated in this event!!  This is the 11th year that the physical education teachers rallied the students to see how many baskets they can make in a minute.  This year’s event raised over $1,100 to benefit the mission of NGA. Thank you!!

Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

 

The Annual NGA Volunteer Luncheon was held on December 14, 2010 with over 30 NGA volunteers and guests in attendance.  The theme this year was a “Winter Wonderland.”  Our guests were treated to a hot buffet, games with prizes, and a hot chocolate bar!  Since NGA is a volunteer-based organization, we rely heavily on our volunteers’ hard work and talent.  We greatly appreciate the time that you give to NGA.

ARL Jack ’n Jill Charity Golf Outing

 

On October 15, 2010, Penn State ARL held its Annual Golf Outing to benefit NGA.  Held at Five Ponds Golf Course, participants enjoyed a nice day, great round of golf and a hot buffet.  This year's event raised $1,900 to benefit the mission of NGA.

125th Birthday Celebration!!

 

NGA celebrated it’s 125th Birthday on Saturday, October 2, 2010.  Thank you to everyone who came to take part in such a momentous occasion for NGA!  The Spirit of Philadelphia was full of dancing, great food, fun and it was wonderful to have so many people joined together in support of our Mission!  It is because of your support that NGA is able to  assist those in need across the United States!

 

18th Annual Dinner Auction

NGA, Inc.’s 18th Annual Dinner Auction was held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Spring Mill Country Club.  The event began at 7:00pm, where guests enjoyed live entertainment, sit-down dinner, silent and live auctions along with award presentations.  This year’s event was a great success, raising over $11,000!!!  Thank you for all of your support!
