Text Box: Modern Day In-Gathering

The day began with a presentation about NGA.  This year, we turned 126 years old, so there is a lot of interesting history behind our organization!

After a small tour of NGA Headquarters, we began our Modern-Day In-Gathering!

The Project:  Make blankets to donate to NGA for children and babies who need it most throughout the winter.

Modern-Day In-Gathering is a new program offered by NGA’s National Headquarters that will offer elementary, middle and high school students, youth organizations and families a historical, educational, and community service experience.

Located at NGA’s office in Warminster, the program includes a tour of our building, a brief educational and historical presentation, including antiques and historical artifacts, and ends with a Modern-Day In-Gathering during which the participants will make a new piece of clothing that will be donated to those in need.
